    70 71 72 Skylark GS Wheel Well Molding Set -Nice Used GM
    Set of 4 front and rear chrome stainless wheel well moldings-- nice used condition--$325 plus shipping from CT-- 06410

    Those are 71-72 style fronts. They are scalloped. 70 fronts were non scalloped. They all interchange but some people want specific.

    Doo Wop Where were you in '62?

    I thought the '70 originals with no scallops were replaced with a revised version with scallops in early 1970 GS/Lark production. This change to scallops was needed to keep tires from being cut up in a curve.

    Ryans-GSX Have fun, life is short.

    The ones you have pictured are from mid year 70 production through 1972. They put the scallops in because the early ones that were solid had a problem when equipped with 15" tires in a turn with a bump the tire would rise up and rip the wheel well trim off in rare circumstances. The scallops eliminated this problem.
