Ryans-GSX Have fun, life is short.

Dave Tumas has finished up the motor for my Retro GS and as we talked about things we realized I don't have the air cleaner brace. I am not running the GS air cleaner but we feel like its something that should be on the engine for people to see and we also wonder what people other than Buick guys will say it is lol. Please PM me if you have one you would sell. I will also need the bolts with it.

    Thank you

    Ryan,
I think Mike Garrison repros the bolts/nuts.

I do stock these if needed. Studs are included.

Mike Carrie's the same one and may be able to help also.

Todd are you sure you stock the one for the 350 ? I knew they reproduced the one for the 455 but I was unaware they reproduced the one for the 350.

Ah, that's right. Sorry, I do not have them for the 350. Had one last year and sold it. If I come across any others I'll let you know.

OR if anyone reading this has a 350 bracket they want to trade for a 455 bracket and studs I'll be happy to help make that trade.

I'm not in the position to reproduce these. I believe the reason nobody else has is so many of these cars are getting 455 transplants so the demand for a 350 bracket realistically isn't there. (At least at a profitable level)

    Thank you though!

Still looking for the 350 Bracket.

I asked a local member to let me know what number is on the back of the 350 bracket. "O" is for the 350 and "1" is for the 455.

I may have some trade deals in the works for 350 Brackets (Trading for New 455 Brackets)

Ryan, You'll be the 1st to know if I end up with one. Or maybe I can have one shipped directly to you.

Part number 1386810 for the 350 engine
Part Number 1386811 for the 455

The letter zero stamped on the 350 bracket may represent the last digit of the part number

The 455 bracket is shorter so it fit on the 350 set up but not sure how much support it will provide.

Picture attached shows repo 455 bracket on the left, and the original 350 bracket on the right, I removed it from my 350 car for the picture.

    Kerry,
What is the 350 height? I get 7-1/4" on my bracket stamped #1.
I'm 2nd owner, bought from a woman. Can't believe she swapped brackets while she had the car.:D

She may not have, one of the assembly line workers may have grabbed it by mistake. Maybe your car was made on Friday afternoon or Monday morning?

I took a second look at it, the height may be closer than I think, but where the support area is located is definitely different
