Looking for a 1970-72 front passenger fender for a skylark. Looking for one that is decent that has not been patched in the heel and is solid for the most part. Does not have to be 100% perfect or NOS, just good enough to where the bracing can be repaired or the heel repair patch can be installed if necessary. nothing thats already been repaired or severely wrecked. Was hoping to find one close to Hermitage Pa, to where i could drive to pick one up within an hour or two. All help is appreciated
Well,I do have one for you but I'm in NY,one half hour from NYC,so it would be a long ride.Unless you have somebody from the area coming this way.Bruno.
Thank you bruno, i really appreciate it. I dont have anyone going through nyc right now and Thats a little long of a trip for me right now. I appreciate the offer! Will send you a pm
Here's a few pics. This is an original fender. I dont know if you're aware that the NOS fenders require spot welds to be drilled out and the fender pushed up and then rewelded. This may be more than you want to spend, I dont know. I'm wanting $700.
I did not realize that about nos femders. I do remember someone on the bpard mentioning about the "good fenders" you could stick up to your first knuckle in the middle of the fender above the wheel arch? I could be wrong about that. This is just an original fender that should fit should pretty well as is? I would be willing to come up and look at it in person if that would be okay?
Larry posted this correct fender original fender photo showing the gap that is the problem area on some fender ... i have 2 fenders in palm bch fla that new patch panels at the bottom the inner structure is perfect just a sheet metal at the bottom but I’m too far from you
Thanks stump puller455, i was hoping i remembered that right. I would love to make the trip down to palm beach to get some nice weather but it is too far and i need to have a fender by the 29th of this month when he comes to pick up the car
