I bid on this vehicle twice on e bay for parts. both of his vehicles (1972 stage 1) were out bid last second by the same bidder with "0" bid history.I don't have time to play games. States both cars have clear Ohio titles in past owners names. Therefore not clear, Highest bid was $5,900
Its probably worth about $6k retail. Or what I would call "end user" price. As a flip, I wouldn't pay more than $3k- $3500
2dtrak is right. If you are buying a car, make sure it is titled in the person’s name that you are actually buying it from from. Otherwise you could end up with a car that you can’t do anything with.
This conversation went on for a couple of days b4 he would admit it was an out of state title. In my state those cars are boat anchors without a clear title. I've been down this road b4. Reputable salvage yards steer clear of these type of cars. Not worth the hassle. Says he's standing firm at $11k as he knows what the car is worth. He must know something we don't. I was told by someone familiar with these particular cars he cleared out a garage and got them for next to nothing. I'm all for making a buck but lets be realistic.
in my opinion , they are all worth exactly the same . what you get on the day you sell it! not one cent more , or less!! right !
Phone number is Jamie Patrick's, aka "revrds1" here on v8buick, aka RevivinRides. His family is well known in Buick circles.
With that crusty looking cowl, I imagine the rest of the car is no different. Looking for a sucker sounds like..... Parts car imo,...that statement "I know what I got" or "I know what it's worth" really irks me what's ironic is 95% of the time the item is priced ludicrously
Early production car - clear top overflow & pointed lenses. Is that a rear defrost switch? Nice pic of all the original stuff in the trunk... Could be a nice old cruiser like Jason's...
