Thanks Eric. Blew the budget on this though. Rims are off the priority list now. Gotta hide the receipt from the missus. Thinking maybe paint the rims black, put on some chrome dress rings and a small centre cap?

Very nice. I'm not a fan of lowering, but have to admit it looks very good on that hearse.

That looks so cool! :TU: Part of the reason it looks good is the paint, its a very nice color.

Thanks Truzi. I see you steer a convertible. You can't help but look cool. I on the other hand have to go to some effort to get the wagon to a state of coolness!

Well, the 'Lark is slowly rotting in the drive, awaiting my hopeful graduation/FT job and restoration, as I drive a beat-up '90 Daytona - I don't look so cool.

Ok, I blew the budget on the suspension, so I had to do a quick makeover. For some reason, the front driver's hubcap was spinning gradually on the rim. I'd line it up with the valve perfectly and after a few miles, I'd hear an annoying "TICK TICK......" Check the wheel and the hubcap had spun a few degrees, enough for the valve to knock on the cap. It was driving me nuts.
So, after a coat of paint, some chrome dress rims, chome wheel nuts and bullet caps, I'm happy. There not the wires, I know I'd get some flak over those!
Maybe some red or white walls next?

Looks good. I think whitewalls would help, and spacers on the rear wheels to fill out the wheel well more. Just a thought...

Finally got some sounds happening, which also means the noisy lifter and exhaust manifold leak are fixed by default! (cant hear 'em)
The only original panels that were cut were the kick panels. The subs were mounted under the bed, the amps on the other side, and the head unit in the glove-box. Very stealthy.

    Nice!

You should try for an alpine sponsor with all that alpine stuff. Why type s and not type r (or maybe 1 type x)? How many watts do you have pushing those two?

I simply went with the installer's advice on speaker selection. Told him what I listen to, and what I DONT need, more importantly! Crisp sharp kick drum and bass lines. I can hear Michael Anthony's lines (VH) clearly now, where as before, he was hard to hear at all.
Alpine, or the installer, would want to put stickers on the car, but I'd much rather a stealth system, I've already come out of work to find a junky in my other car trying to steal my stereo.
The subs are driven by a 700W amp, the rest are powered by a 350W.
Thanks for not flaming! I expected a little, but I assure you, there will be no techno gangsta hippity hop house hardcore rap blearing around DA 'HOOD!

    20" Wheels .....man ...do it

I like the wires, but afraid of the knock off so thats why I dont buy them, try a 20'' wheel it would look good on that wagon its a big car and the ride wont be that different, you wont notice it, I put some on my 68 Electra and I think it looks nice.
