Forged pistons, TA 284-88H cam, Gessler level 2 heads with larger valves and port matching. Should be pretty sweet when I get it all back together in say...2016.

Wanted a stock look with better performance. Sleeper.

Wish me luck. I will be working with Jim W on the correct stall converter. Will be placing that order soon.

Again, nice, driving, high performance, original looking GS 350. It's not s big block, I know, but it should still be a nice car.

Sway bar is back on with new end links. Waiting on a new Torque Converter and will get the TH350 in good working order very soon. Then it all should start going back together.

    Piece of cake, right?

Motor and Trans went back in this past weekend with the help of my brother.

SLOWLY but surely, it's making progress.

Still at it - running into lots of cooling problems and had to re do some gaskets. It's going back together slowly and I'm real close to firing it up for the first time.

    Thanks!!

Intake manifold gasket wasn't sealed properly. Pressure tested it and coolant came up through the manifold bolts. Resealed it and tested it and it's fine. Also resealed the thermostat housing and while I was at it I saw cork gaskets and I've been told they are prone to leaking, so while I was there I replaced them and painted everything up all nice.

Broke in the cam but fluid leaks out of the trans coolant lines. I'll seat them properly and get it timed right. Here are pics of the core support before it went on.

Thanks Anthony - let me get this stupid leak fixed. I ordered plain steel lines since I can't get them to seat to save my life.

I'll need to time it correctly and then it should be pretty good to go.

Then it's time to get the body guy over to test fit the welded fender.

Mock up for the fender looks good and that's under way.

Trans lines seated and leak free.

Initial timing on the 350 is complete. Gonna fine tune it this weekend.

Next...get the new climate control unit in...headights, wiring, paint under the hood etc etc. Lots of little stuff.

After 2 years - the fenders are finally done and are in my possession. It's starting to come back together, albeit very slowly.
