    Jim-

That looks great! I am very impressed with what you have there. I need to get in gear and catch up with you. I'm not that far behind...

Keep up the great work and keep the pics coming. The backing plates look great that you got from OPG. :TU:

I can't wait to see you and your car in Salem next year!

    Jim,

Looks great.. your guy did a nice job applying the frame/sheetmetal paint I sent you. Looks so much better than it did with a yellow firewall.. and nice shine contrast between the frame and suspension parts.. the way it's supposed to be.

    Keep up the good work.

Your engine parts should be ready to ship by the end of the week.

I expect a ride in that thing at Norwalk next year! Or maybe even a little test drive.. :Brow:

    GStage1 Always looking for parts!

I think Jim is trying to pull a fast one on us!

Hmmm, he must have a special air spring on the pass. side!

Or..........it is painted with translucent paint!

    I don't see a coil spring!

Jim, looks good.....its neat to see all those pieces finally come together and start to form something.....I get an absolute kick out of looking at projects....and such a rare and valuable machine too. Awesome!

There are too many variables to say. It always takes longer than you think. However, I have most of the pieces done except the engine, the z bar, pedal bushings, etc. I do have to respray the metal on the dash, replace the carpet, and the so forth. I also have to refinish the underside of the hood , the core support inner fenders etc. Well you get the pic. (Plus I can only work on it 1 and sometimes 2 days per week.)

I just caught this line. I thought the frame and upper and lower control arms were both the same semi-gloss sheen, while the sheetmetal parts were the lower luster satin.

    Apparently I am wrong. :error:

    Educate me please!
