I'm looking for a SUPER NICE ignition key lock cylinder for a '70 Abody. Don't know if the '70 Buicks used this same style chrome bezel or not (see pic) but figured I would try here. The chrome bezel MUST BE the SMOOTH CHROME style as shown in the pics....not the later ('71 and later) style chrome bezel that is shaped a bit differently and looks different. Also...on some '69 GM cars they may have used the same style as shown in my pics BUT in a "satin chrome" finish....DO NOT want one of those. Looking for one in SUPER NICE CONDITION. Cannot use one with bubbles, dings, bad scratching, etc. No key necessary.
Patton, That is what the 70 Oldsmobiles used. The Buicks used the same ones as everyone else. I will look and give you a call. Duane
Thanks for checking Duane. Yes, it's for a '70 Oldsmobile.....I thought that MAYBE some of the other GM brands, in 1970, used the same style cylinder. Still looking and thanks again.
I only had info on another ap they were used on, and a tip on where an NOS one may be found. Brian, those aren't the dates. That is the key code to make the key. Bruno, if you need keys for any of the cylinders, they can make them from that code.
Patton, When the guy bought my car he got at least 3 or 4 of them. You could probably give him a call. They were all 70 units for the J/K key blanks. Duane
OK folks....I'll contact him Duane....I was wondering if there were any of those in the "stash". Will find out. I'll follow up with Brian and Bruno as well.....I need one with SUPER NICE chrome...show quality. I know, they're used pieces but sometimes these "survive" in very nice condition. Thanks
I have a lot more, but I had those out recently for someone else looking, and he bought one. I still had those pictures on my phone.
