    Looks fantastic Adam. Your doing it right, really putting the hours on the finish work (as you are notorious for I suppose). I got in a time crunch and cut it short, now I've made more work for myself going back to fix it. Well done sir! Can't wait to see it together, gonna be sharp.

    And yeah, im with Jim. It's going to be strange seeing you in an a-body. Ya sellout!!!! Haha :p

    Thanks guys...it's far from perfect, trust me. There is a bunch of dust in the tops of the fenders because I was an idiot and didn't change out the plastic covering the engine when I painted the car. I want to drive this thing, so it is sanded out as much as possible, and I am moving on :3gears:

    I finished the final buff this morning and started to install trim. I am having the headliner finished on Tuesday, so should be able to get the interior buttoned up after that.

    Even with the "good" window fuzzies, I had to do some drilling and massaging of a couple of the pieces to make them fit right.

    Steele sent the wrong door rubber. They sent a set for a post car. According to their website, this is correct for a "coupe." Isn't a coupe the same as a hardtop?? So technically it was my screwup because I ordered a set for a coupe. I'll be having a chat with them Monday.

    A coupe is a 2 door hardtop. You were correct.

    Thanks Jim. So, on their website there is a drop down menu to choose body style. There is an option for "coupe" and "2 door hardtop". Well, when I was ordering, I chose the first option that I came across that I thought was correct. Frustrating, to say the least. I was able to get a hold of their after hours ordering service and order the right stuff. She also sent an email to whoever fixes these things and was told to call me regarding the problem. Once I opened up the package and saw the nice sharp edge of the top of the door post rubber, I knew I was in trouble.

    They should say 2 Door Post or 2 Door Hardtop.

    The word "coupe" is an old term used to differentiate 2 door hardtop from roadsters (convertibles) cars like the 32 Ford of long ago. The term coupe means a fixed roof with two doors.

    Taken from wiki:

    "Alternatively, a coup is often distinguished from a two-door saloon (US sedan) by the lack of a B pillar to support the roof. Saloon cars have an A pillar forward at the windscreen, a B pillar aft of the door, and a C pillar defining the aftermost roof support at the rear window. "

    So, a coupe is a 2 door hardtop. A 2 door post is a 2 door hardtop with a B Pillar, or also called a sedan. Then you also have a 4 door post and hardtop, and then all of the convert variations like soft top, removable hardtop and retractable hardtop among others.

    That said, I feel they owe you the correct parts, all shipping charges, and an additional complete weatherstrip set for make and model of your choice for your pain and suffering and loss of time.

    pain and suffering? really. How about he gets a shipping label paid for by the company and a credit for the wrong seals.

    It really was painful to see those wrong seals when I ripped open the seal on the package. I think I cried a little, too.
