Because the 70 stage one is the most desired big block GSX , 71 an 72 stage 1 not so much although they bring good money also.

My car has all the correct stuff except the carb, but it’s sort of a rat, and I drive the crap out of it. While I’d like to find the right carb for it, I can’t see spending $2000 + for one. Mrolds69, thanks for the offer, but I’m not interested in a restamp.
is it a core that needs rebuilt /restored and need a helicoil ? And what date ? All that would figure in.
