He traded for it in 2002 I believe. Car was never apart tho I believe the fella we got it from got it from a black fella that owned a auto mechanics shop in Brooklyn maybe back around mid 90's maybe
Found my notes!.... March 1995. Black/black, 455 4 speed with 72 stage 1 engine. $5500. Dave in West Point NY. Eng & trans was out of car, interior apart, rust in drivers floor. Body had lots of dings and was in primer. Doesn't sound like the car your dad bought. But with so few with that combo, there is a chance....
Luckily we have the original engine and even the original "043" Carb tucked away but at Somepoint there in fact was two of them roaming NY streets, wonder where the other is and if it survived?? Never know
