I have to recognize fast -gs ( Rick) who, along with his trusty side kick Josh, made this car and our GSX the great restos they are today. True auto craftsmen at work.

Ah yes.. one of the few privaledges of being the boss..

I got to drive them both...

Of course I pay for it, as I sit here in my office at 7:30 am.. knowing full well that Rick is still in bed..

    Hey Jim..

How about a pic of both your cars together?..

    That would be cool..

They were only close enough once here in the shop, while there were in process in '06, on a day that we were cleaning and moving things around. I just recalled I had this pic.

Jim, who is the best source for correct decals and stickers?
    Thanks

I think many or most are made here http://www.osborn-reproduction.com/

But I would get the air cleaner embossed decals from the NE GS chapter (Skyhawk on this Board ) unless I could find NOS.

I thought that would be the place, but they don't seem to offer the decal I need: the radiator cover emissions decal for a 1970 455 non stage engine-- one of the most common applications, I would think. It's for my Wildcat, but it isn't offered for any series, as far as I can tell.

I must be missing it somewhere...

I know someone is making it; I got one about a year ago. Pretty sure it was Osborne.
However, Duane has said that it is not correct. I've been supposed to call him to discuss it and get more details, but haven't gotten around to it.
Also, not sure if it is the same decal for the SR (GS) and SF (full size) motors, but it would certainly be better than nothing...

Given when I had to obtain this one it may have come from OPG, Year One or the Parts Place. Check their lists.

Wow, it looks great. It reminds me of what my Dad's looked like when he got it redone in 1980. He too had it a triple black.

Soon it will be back on the road, except it will have the correct interior (Pearl White).

The poster is beautiful. How large are you going to make it?
