I already have some mounted about 24 x 30". Until tonight I had never tried to post the artwork as it reqired a url link and a host site. Some of the Board members were kind enough to help me with a program they have, but I do not have, that allowed the file to be changed from a PDF to a JPEG. Given the hosting I am puzzled that they are not full size out of the box.
No, I have no plans to change them. These were mounted on the standard foam type board. I had the company that actually laid in the artwork over my text do the mounting. I have some smaller ones also.
Jim, since you are answering questions is the yellow stamp on the AC compressor correct? I have two untouched originals(70 and 71) and nothing visible. I have seen them on earlier 60's cars however.
i never knew they put a rear defroster on the convertibles , does the unit mount to the seat back support ?
Very Very nice I know how much time you must have in the restoration My restoration started out the same it was a frame on in 1990 Triple Black (not original colors ) But is a documented 72 455 auto car , Now its a GSX Clone . Again SWEET My hat is off to you !!! Dave
I personally drueled over this car a few times at Jim's shop. I feel fortunate to have that opportunity 5 miles from my house. Need to get by there again some time soon. All These hot Buicks out of Anoka MN  If you ever get a chance to come to Anoka, you will love it.
Jim your car is an insperation. I have been thinking tripple black for a while. Mine would be a CLONE and a 350, but I like the color combo and here in MN the black won't be so bad. Give me another year to come up with all the parts I need like Hood w/all parts, air breather exct...
Jim thanks for restoreing that beautiful 70 GS stage one convertible I have a numbers matching double black hardtop. Do you still have it and do you ever take it out for a Sunday stroll?
I thought I posted on here years ago but I don’t see it. Jim’s car is not the only triple black Stage 1 convertible. I know a guy in SC that has one. Him & his dad ordered one from, I believe, Sitton Buick in Greenville, SC. But his is a 4 speed. I know the car is real, I have seen it and he told me the story of him & his dad going to the dealership to order it. He said his dad wouldn’t let him order it with the Buick mags because he thought someone would steal them. So they ordered it with steelies & dog dish hubcaps. And the last time I saw it in the 90’s it still had them on it.
