Looks like a nice grill :TU:

Now time for someone to remake Skylark Grills!

Some what on topic: I saw that they had '70 GS repro grills from Year One for around 600 dollars. Is their online catalogue out of date or are the grills of poor quality?

I'd rather support someone who posts here anyway, and I'll probably be repairing my Skylark grill anyway, just simple curiousity.

Eric, I'm pretty sure YO is selling the same grille, purchased from the GSCA. To my knowledge, no one else is currently making 70 GS grilles.

Yeah, but it sounds like TPP might start making them. I will definitely one from them if they do.

I saw them last week also and they look great. I hope they start to repo more Buick parts like 64-66 steering wheels.

    Thanks to those who answered.

I would definitely buy from TPP if I ever decide to go that route.

    Thanks again.

I just ordered my 71 GS grille today. Plan is to put it in and put original away. I can relax now driving the car, always worried about that piece of plastic up front!!!

I hope it sells well enought to do other parts, and I thank whoever decided to push this grille though for doing it. now I just have to wait for it to show up..hope its not really alte or anything, was told two weeks....

Glad to see P.P. is reproducing this much needed part. Many years ago when I needed one they were impossible to find. Now at least there is an option to having a busted one or none at all.

Wait until they finish the mold and are satisfied with the result. Believe it or not, it takes a lot of time to grind & polish the steel so the parts come out just right. Then when they reach that point, they have to send the mold out to get hardened, trial & error. :TU:

Anyone have any pics of the grille? I have a hard time shelling out close to 600 bucks for a replacment that I've yet to see.

Did you see page 1 of this thread?? JW has some pics and called it awesome. Good enough for me. I will have good pics and a review up on my website once I get one and can compare to my original.
