Had my neutral safty switch go out and, for once, i had the time and money to spare so seeing as how almost every other aspect of the column is busted i figure id swap in a new one. Having a hell of a time finding a suitable one however, so i was hoping some of you fine folks on here might know what other cars i could pull from.

71 skylark, 3spd column, no cruise control, no tilt

You may want to specify tilt or non tilt.

Also send Brian Trick on this Board a pm. He rebuilds steering columns.

Ok,you need a non-tilt. Do you need a column-shift,or one for a floor/console shift? I have shipped them from Pennsylvania to California for less than $40.00

Break it down, take off steering wheel and lower intermediate shaft from main column = smaller box.

I don’t ship them with a steering wheel or intermediate shaft. I like to use some of my leftover Moser axle boxes to ship these. Nice a sturdy, and have room to pack material around the column.

That and your 400 miles closer to CA than me Brian . So that makes a difference

I ship mine FedEx ground. I have an account, which makes it a little cheaper, and if you print out the shipping label,it is even cheaper yet, compared to just writing the info on the box. I also have a UPS account, but I rarely use it because FedEx is almost always cheaper.
I shipped a 70 rear bumper to Tacoma Washington for $80.00. That’s hard to beat.
