Looks like a total POS to me. The bondo is cracked and bleeding rust from the drivers door and quarter panel

Just curious, why is it that unless a car came off of meccum or Barret Jackson it's deemed a pile of junk that anyone should be ashamed to own?? I'm not taking your comment personally especially since I dont own the car but it seems to be that's how everyone thinks on this site?? This would be a great start to an average joe (like myself) to get into the car scene, you know it needs work but it's good enough to still drive around town with a smile on your face.

You made a valid point. I think my issue is always about rust. Growing up and fixing cars for a living in the rust belt has made me somewhat jaded about rusty cars in general. I guess the tone of the ad also got my hackles up because they think they're sitting on a goldmine and are expecting the offers to come flooding in. Put a price on it and let the market decide what's it's worth. I have just spent too much time over the years patching floors and door bottoms and that's coloring my perception. You're right to call me on it.

I agree with you 100% that majority of sellers think they have the rarest last surviving blah blah blah and that they deserve a gazillion dollars for it just because. The seller does come off as a D-bag in the ad and he should put a REASONABLE price for it.

It might be a good starting point if the seller is reasonable. The tone he used suggests not.
