72 GSX paint combos

We are building a 72 GSX clone car. Are there any websites that would have pics of the different colors and stripe combos available on the 72 GSX? Thanks.

There is only one stripe combination available on the Buick GSX.

 

Lots of body colors available for the 72's, Unlike the 70's which were either Apollo White or Saturn Yellow. Interiors were available in other than black too. I am fairly sure the stripes are always black but its possible the outline stripe may be something other than red on some cars. I wouldn't think a Fire Red GSX would have the red outline pin stripe. Some of the guys on here own real 72's so I'm sure one of them will chime in.

 

I just saw a pic of a 71 that was black with Cortez gold GSX stripes. Very nice! I am still wondering if there is a website that would list what colors they came in and how many , etc. Most of the sites I have seen have only one or two 72s. One was blue and the other was red.My Year one catalogue has a green one. The red one has a yellow pin stripe outlining the black.

 

Pics are probably limited commodity since there exist only 44 true 72's and to the best of my knowledge only 6 of them are registered in the GSX registry.

Yes, that is a black vinyl top too. And it has the same super sport wheels that my car has...
