Thanks! The car has been up in NH for the winter, hopefully the weather will clear up and I can get it home soon. More photos will be made this spring, I owe Sean some good detail shots for his website.

You can really see how tweaked my bumper is with the front end up like that...

How's the engine running Michael? I noticed you put some pretty headers on it! Looking good!!!

    Gorgeous car, Michael!

If you have a good shop nearby, that bumper can be "untweaked" in about 10 minutes. Just needs some properly applied leverage.

Thanks Steve, everything seems to be running just fine. It started right up and ran perfect on the first try! I took some engine pictures, but I haven't finished the roll yet.

    Thanks!
The front was actually worse than that... It's been worked on once before, but we were concerned the chrome wouldn't stand any more stress. This winter it will probably go out for repair/rechrome at Tri-City. They did a good job on my rear bumper and it was WAY worse. The front also has some dents in the corners that need repair.

I just got my front bumper back from Tri-City, it turned out pretty nice. My old bumper was pushed up in the middle like yours, common on these cars. Do you have a good core? There were several for sale at the nationals this year.

I figured I'd just send them the one off my car in November and hope to get it back by March... I would've loved to come to Bowling Green this year, met a guy on Sunday who I could've caught a ride with too, maybe next year if gas isn't $10/gal. How's the Stage 1 treating you?

I'm still trying to get the transmission sorted out. Not enough room on a '72 intake for a TV cable and cruise to both work correctly but I've about got it figured out...now it's too hot to drive it!!:af:

this is from 1985 (upper left corner!) even then I was obsessed with the car in my Grandmother's garage...and going as fast as I could on my BMX bike

Love the vert it matches my dads that he has had since I was a young boy. Stories are kinda alike but your grandmother owned the car and my dad owned his. The car is still his though but is talking bout giving it to me b/c he has only drove it twice since he has owned it and it runs and drives and is in nice shape. His is the same color as your originally but is now fire red with black interior and a saddle top. Love the car keep it up looks really nice. Drive it like you stole it:3gears:
