My name is Paul. This was my HS car and I drove it till probably 10+ years ago. It has been sitting since that time. My goal was to put this into a Buick GS or Riviera but I went off and got married then had kids and I don't know when I will have the funds to build up another car, HAHA! But seriously, the family is worth more to me right now, I enjoyed the car and now it is time to move on to other endeavors. The engine in currently in a 1978 Buick Le Saber 2dr sedan which originally had a 350/350TH (which I sold after putting the 455 in). The 455 was out of a 74 Limited 4dr. I don't think I have the Limited's VIN anywhere, sorry. The body of the car is rusting but the engine still seems fine. I cranked it up a few months ago and it ran fine. The basic engine specs are below. The body goes with the engine. That would be too easy!! That's another one of those deals where if you new a person that drive here and there that could pick it up. I will let you know if there is any way to get there to get it but for now all I have is the want!!!
They are small tube headers I got from Poston Enterprises when they were still in business. I dont think I have any of their old books anymore. If I find one I can post the specs of the headers. Sorry it took so long to reply. My phone would not cooperate and I have been out and about the last few days.
I have tried to find an old catalog. I had kept one around so i would have the specs sheets for stuff I ordered. I think they had 2 headers for the 455 I liked. Both were long tube but one had larger diameter pipes. I think I got the smaller diameter pipes but I am not sure. I cant say for sure but I think the collector on the larger ones might have been too big. I was worried about scavenging on the larger headers. If there isn't enough back-pressure you lose power. Still for sale.
