What are you guys using to seal the A/C box to the firewall; when I removed it there was some sort of nonhardining substance around it. Thanks Jaye
I use gum cord. Its available at hvac supply houses. Some guys use 3m caulk strips. they are available from most auto parts stores

I used 3m caulking strips; after a month I decided to take the box off; I had to pry the thing off I thought I had left some screws in. That stuff is great; I also used it on my 65 Ford's roof rail seals.
