    Guys,

This is in the "leads" section, no waiting lines.

Greg, is this the same block that has been discussed over the last week or two on Facebook?

Without seeing what it looks like opened up, nobody's going to bite at $1000 much less $10K. Buick Engineering marked a lot of stuff "X", granted most of it hit the dumpster when they were done with an experiment.

Who knows, maybe there's another four bolt main block around! But it could just as easily be something a lot less exciting, like an experiment they might've done to find out if drilling the 1/2" ID oil suction channel oversize would help out, which we all do anyway...or some other mundane study like that.

Greg, I'm not interested in buying, even though it might turn out that you have a cool piece of Buick history. Thanks for posting here, this is a great place to find an interested Buick enthusiast as a buyer, for sure!

If you're interested in getting some people looking, the best thing to do would be to at least pull the pan and post lots of photos so we can see what might be different and/or unusual about this block.

Also, V8Buick.com has some pretty strict rules/guidelines about how stuff gets sold here. The proper place for the sale is the "Parts for Sale" section at http://www.v8buick.com/forumdisplay.php?44-Parts-for-sale

There are a few posts stuck to the top there that you can read to get a feel for how things work. For starters, the location of the part(s) and the price(s) must be posted.

Good luck! It would be cool if your block is something really unique, and it would be nice if a real Buick fan was the buyer.
