I'm wondering if this caused what happened to me tonight...

On my way home tonight my charging system was showing real low voltage and my lights were very dim...

I checked a few things when I got home and I will check the charging system once my battery is recharged...

I was running the AC on the way to the cruise night, but not on the way home...

When I got home I looked around some and found the wiring harness to the AC Relay was melted on the 3 way connector...

Now my question is if that relay went bad or the system wasn't working because of the toasted wire would that affect the charging system???

It's could be a cowinkiedink that the AC trouble happened and I have two problems, but the charging system has been working fine to tonight...

    Any thought's???

    Thanks

Well I checked it out today...

It seems that the AC trouble is different than the charging trouble...

I will have to get a new AC Relay (to be safe) and a new plug set-up as this one is too melted to save...

It looks like my voltage regulator decided to STB so I will have to fix that also...

OH well, it wouldn't be any fun if we weren't wrenching on our cars... :)

Just ordered a new relay and plug from NAPA...

I'll get that in and solve one problem...
