hi, I have a 67 electra and it is a little sluggish off the line, It has th 430-4 with lots of torque but I wanted to know what the best way to get that torque from the engine to the wheels is. what would you guys recomend.:Brow:
What kind of tranny do you have hooked to the 430? If it is the switch pitch ST400, check all of your solenoids and switches. If that slow idle switch is bad or out of adjustment the car will act sluggish and will not downshift properly. If the engine is operating properly, that is the first place I would look.
