72 GS350 Convertible...I have the rear out for a rebuild. I'm planning to replace upper/lower control arms. I've see a kit that adds a rear sway bar. (currently no rear sway bar in the car)

This car is a cruiser not a carver. Any feedback on adding a sway bar? I'm going with rubber bushings in the control arms so I don't add any NVH (noise/harshness), but I'm wondering if a sway bar will stiffen things up a bit without adding NVH?

A rear sway bar will greatly improve cornering characteristics whether you drive hard in the corners or not. Same deal with my former 68, I added a stock size rear bar and a larger 1.25" front bar, night and day difference even in normal speed cornering.

I boxed my lower control arms and added the sway bar to my 70 convertible. Made a world of difference. Highly recommended. throw on a pair of Bilstein shocks while your at it.

Seems like the sway bar is the way to go and not an expensive upgrade.

I cant find the Bilsteins on summit or on Bilstein's website. Is there a cross-reference to another GM car?

I installed Bilstein's and a Summit 1'' rear bar on my GS last summer. Made a nice improvement and hoping I can lower my 60' times a bit as well. Car handles much better with the bar.
