    Hi Guys,

Has anyone had any experience with the new Aeromotive Pro-Plus fuel pumps? Or know anyone who has?

I am tyring to determine what fuel system I will go with on my new S/C build. I was planning on fabbing up either a belt driven or cable driven mechanical pump but this new pump from Aeromotive should solve that problem. It claims it can support 1800hp on E-85 w/ EFI and boost or 2600hp on gas. Pretty stout pump if the claims are true.

Thanks for any feedback or thoughts!!

What about two Eliminators? Or 1 Eliminator and one A1000 as a boost-a-pump Would be a little less $, but that does look like a wicked pump. I'm sure it would be up to anything you can dish out

ya I thought about that with my Magnafuel 4303 and adding another one at X boost but I like the idea of a one pump solution. Hopefully in the next week or so we will get the beast on the dyno to see how much fuel will really be required!

I like the newer electric pumps and they can support big power.
If your new mill makes great numbers I might consider belt drive. Cable driven if using e85.

I was just looking at the specs on that Aeromotive pump. Pretty stout for sure.
Just need your electrical system to be up to snuff with that dude.
I wonder what the noise level would be like with that pump.

Ya i was thinking belt or cable w this best deal until i saw these. Wish my engine would get finished so i knew for sure how much fuel i needed. As for the noise I am sure the in tank set up is not as loud as the in line one but with my superchatger drive you cannot hear anything but the whine.

I would say if you can use belt drive then cost would be quite a bit less compared to that pump. If you add cable to the mix the money savings shrink and it's probably about even. Depending on your mumbers I would say you'd probably be ok with belt on gas but on e85 and the extra 30% volume you need it makes me more nervous trying to "pull" that much fuel and I'd feel better with a cable drive or maybe the electric.
Only down side to belt or cable is a bit more cranking time to build pressure but some of that can be aleviated by playing with injector settings in the ecu.

Ya I hear ya on the belt deal as we will be using E85. Not sure how I would mount up the cable or belt set up on my 65 due to no clearance between the radiator and the blower drive but where this is a will......they hopefully will be a way.
