Aftermarket Aluminum Intake W/Cut Plenum

    I ran one of those intakes into the low 12s. Painted it red and almost everyone thought it was a stk intake

    I believe that is a clearance notch cut for use with a Holley 3 barrel carb.

    It is actually a flow balance notch. Offy found it helped on the low end. It is a single plane with divider. Similar to the old Poston intake. I had one on a Ford 289 with 1" spacer. Edelbrock Performer RPM Air Gap does something similar with a notch. Old tech but a good intake from 1500-6500 RPM. I would like to see dyno results compared to Edelbrock Performer RPM and Weiand Stealth. I think it would be close. I didn't know they made one for the 350 Buick. I checked their catalog, only 215, BB and V6 Buicks.
