I need your opinion on what will look better. The factory window antenna is not strong enough to get my favorite stations and hooking up an aftermarket item makes quite a difference. Now...where do I mount it? I can do the front passenger fender, although the antenna would need to mount damn near over the wheel well since theres not width on my 76 LeSabre. The other option is in the rear either to the left of right of the trunk deck. I don't want to mount it on the trunk deck as that may be a little "dukes of hazzard" redneck style(nothing against rednecks...I like Duck Dynasty just fine). Thoughts? Here are some examples of what it may look like.

Have you tried an inline FM booster? I'm running one in my Riv because the antenna is shaved and I can at least pick up local stations with it.

I would go with rear antenna, but then again on eBay they sell hidden antennas for radios, I've never tried but they seem good

I'm thinking rear only because its easier access to install in the trunk. THe fenders have some support metal tacked in which make it difficult to access under the fender to install. Plus there is almost an immediate drop to the side of the mounting point on the front fender in which most antenna bases are too wide and would overhang and loot cheap and indicate a poor install. A rear antenna would be a cleaner install.

I don't remember the brand, was some cheapie from best buy. They seem to work pretty good though.
