Anyone have information on replacing the bench seat in '65 Skylark (or similar) with a nice aftermarket seat, with headrest?
There's a few companies that make nice looking seats (fairly expensive) like Corbeau.
I am always nervous driving my Skylark without a headrest. I have seen so many hotrods with converted buckets, but they never have a headrest.

I recovered the seats out of a 2005 Pontiac GTO for my 65 Skylark. Here is one picture I have. GTO Seats Installed 002.jpg

Nice! That is more like it.

Forgot to ask, what kind of brackets did you use? Or did you have custom made?

I made the brackets myself. Also the seats are 8 way adjustable and I did have to run 12 volts to them. No big deal.
