Looks like a Seltec compressor (Sanden clone), so that's a plus. No telling about the quality of the rest.
I would contact them and ask what the BTU of the system is. A factory system is around 30K BTU, so judge from there.

Do you know if any of the other under-dash systems are any better? Considering that I haven't seen any that are "Buick" specific and mine isn't an A/C car, I'm limited in what the capabilities are.

Unusual manufacturer (Re: Aftermarket underdash system)

Hi Tim, and V-8 Buick coolcat wannabees . . .

Well, supposedly it is manufactured by: ColdMaster, Inc. If you do a web search on that you get:

    http://www.coldmasterinc.com/

If you click on the link to their online store, it takes you almost immediately to that universal product.

So if these guys really make quality cooling for a bus, it might be a decent product for a car. But clearly they are the new kids on the block.

    Cheers, Edouard :beer

I saw that Edouard, also the fact that they are out of Venezuela. Don't know if that is a bad thing or if it even matters???? Especially considering most products are made off-shore anymore.
