This is the second one and its new, I'm thing it's the long ass starter wire I got, everything else is good. Any thoughts guys?

The Cougars have flash backs, but I found part of the problem. The starter wire was contacting the block so I changed that rewired and now it won't crank at all, I can't get Acc on either checked fuses, all good but no start no radio, no windows nothing!
Do you have power anywhere else in the car? Fuse block, etc? May have blown an inline fuse. I've even seen a bad solenoid cause this.
ooooooh ok do there needs to be 2 of them? I only put 1 but it makes sense why nothing happened and I didn't solder it just crimped it, lol I'm going to Napa to get another one right now and I'll keep you guys posted.
yes, 2. Im not a big fan of crimp connectors especially when not done with the correct crimping tool. The exposed end where the wire goes into the barrel is just begging for corrosion to set in .. especially down low and exposed to the elements (like rain water splashing up on it). ... in the long haul, if you start using cheap barrel and spade crimp connectors on your car you are just asking to be chasing problems in a couple of years .. and when you do finally find the problem I can guarantee its going to be one of those connectors
