Aluminum heads

As I consider a 455 build, I'm really considering aluminum heads. As much as I want to stay iron, wow, aluminum is really enticing. Stage 1 heads. Right now I just want to run a stock iron manifold on them and keep my quadrajet.

Stage-1, or Stage-2? .... Standard Port, or Tall Port?

I have a set of Aluminum T/A Stage-2 Tall Port Heads and Matching T/A SP-2A Dominator Intake Manifold that I am thinking about putting up for sale soon. Let me know if you have any interest.

Thank you Larry. I added more detail above. Looking for stage 1 heads. Mild Porting a bonus.

 

Of course after I drop just about 4500 for my new te heads, cnc porting, sp2 with porting, valves, springs, etc. A pair might come up for sale.......lol. just my luck.........

But I will say I'm super excited to get my motor together and see what kind of power gains I get. My irons were 260/200ish cfm at .650. The new ones are 385/265 at the same lift......thanks bob

 

Ouch! I swear it works that way more often than not. Sounds like you have iron heads for sale....
