I actually splurged for a set of stainless crank pulley bolts from TA a few years ago. I think it was somewhere in the $40 range? Can't remember. I was also buying a set of stainless intake bolts at the same time. I guess it was more for the bling and that good feeling knowing you have fancy strong hardware on your engine, though probably not entirely necessary. They are definitely nice pieces, and I think made by ARP. I did almost have my crank pulley fly off though because I forgot to loctite them, so make sure you do that! I happened to open my hood and glance down and my belts were wobbling all over the place. Probably would have come apart on my way home if I hadn't noticed it!

The water pump pulley is overdriven for a short pump as for the crank pulley TA only sells one standard size.

Patwhac I'm definitely thinking about buying a set from TA since I have to order a new flexplate anyways;)

Everyone always says that shipping charges from TA are what add up, so people try and get all of their TA goodies in one go!

I'd say something is up there, hopefully a new flexplate fixes that!

Yeh me too! I'm rebuilding the tranny this spring so a new flex plate is a good idea!
