Had to pull the transmission this week, due to continually breaking starters! Low and behold the flywheel was cracked all to pieces. Since I pulled the ol's tranny, I decided to go ahead and have Coan build me a new tranny and torque converter. I've heard that they are possibly the best around. Will be heading to Indiana next week to get the tranny. Hopefully I will soon have all my bugs worked out so I can just enjoy my car!

    Here is the semi-finished product:

I learned of their work from word of mouth, the guys from Automotive Machine and Performance highly recomended them. I haven't installed the tranny yet, but I know a lot of people around where I live and in the Owensboro, KY area are running their transmissions. I drove up to Kokomo last thursday and picked it up, and was treated very well. Seemed like great people, and the shop had a family atmosphere about it!

It was actually about 30 to 45 minutes north of Indianapolis! It was worth the drives for me, considering it was gonna be about a $100 shipping charge, and a $75 core charge!

    Hope this helps!
