Another Big $$$ Fbr In Wichita Ks.

OK guys and gals, I'm looking at having another FBR some time next June, and I'm inviting you racers to come to Wichita again, this time I will get some lighting for the Friday night BBQ. :beer I kept the first race pretty generic... I wasn't sure what to expect. But this time I'm working on getting a huge trophy for the winner to go along with the $$$$, and also some $$$$ for the closest to there dial in on the last time trial, and $$$$ for the first perfect light in eliminations, and $$$$ for the closest to there dial in during eliminations etc. etc........ after the first race........MAN !! the word is spreading about how fun it was etc. etc. :TU: I got a some e-mails from some out of town racers asking when is the next one!!! I will post all the official details on the TEAMWIR site here in a month or so, I just wanted to give you guys and gals a heads up because I know a lot of planning has to go on in order to travel..... Can't wait!!... June will be here before you know it. :3gears:..... oh yeah and last but not least I had a lot of positive responses about all the Buicks.... the racers and spectators loved them all. :TU:

Hey FBRers, the first race the gates opened at noon and time trials started around 2:00 and eliminations started at 6:00 ish, with the last 2 racers going down the track at around 12:30 AM....... was every one fine with this format?......... or would you rather see something like this,....... gates open at 9:00 AM time trials at 11:00ish, and eliminations start at 3:00ish...... I've been throwing this question out there trying to get every ones opinions on this.

I would like to see the early start, as we did not leave the track till 2:30 or so and bed time was at 4 I think. Made for a long 9 hour drive home.

I'm with John. An earlier start would be nice. Gives us all time to wind down back at the motel afterwards. :beer :beer

nope, never have raced before. I don't use power adders, just My right foot
I also need to get a copy of the '07 NHRA rule book,to make sure I do things correctly
