There is going to be an all Buick show in September hosted by the Fireball Chapter of the BCA. One of their members is going to mail me a few flyers. As soon as I get them I will post the dates and contact information.
For general car show dates and info try:
www.autoswalk.com Under "events and shows", Minnesota car shows and swap meets, towards the bottom-has shows etc listed by month.

    St Paul Fair ground show

I didn't make it to that show but I talked to a guy when I was at the back to the 50"s show that said a guy from Tomah Wi. had a booth with alot of 64-67 Skylark/GS parts for sale. Anyone that went the show know who it might be? I would like to call him.
    Thanks

  5. I think the 3rd weekend of July is the Car Craft Summer Nationals meet at the St. Paul fairgrounds. I'm trying to get there this summer, especially since Brainerd moved their muscle car drags weekend to September. Maybe will do both this year.

    Ed,
If he was a vendor, I might be able to help out. I have the program with all of the vendors listed. I really think he was probably just one of the swappers on Sunday. If that is the case, he may be rather difficult to find. If he is going to be anywhere, he will be at Iola in Wisconsin on July 18, 19 & 20th. Largest swap meet around, makes BTT50's swap meet look small! Also, French Lake auto parts near Annandale, Minnesota has lots of 60's vintage Buicks. Check it out, Tim McCluskey

Hey, David! The Car Craft 2003 Summer Nationals at the MN Fairgrounds is on July 18th through 20th. Usually over 3000 cars there, chassis dyno, live music, swimsuit competition :)Brow: ), etc.

I know that the day of the show, admission is $12 for adults, $8 for kids 6 to 12, and under 6 free. Adults can get tickets in advance for $8, but I'm not sure how. You can call Car Craft at 877-413-6515 to find out, I imagine.

Guess I'll have to wear my BPG ot TA Performance t-shirt there! (Don't have a Tri-Shield Performance one:ball: )!

He was at the Buick show in May. I think he was just a guy at the swap. I was planning to go to Car craft in JUly. I have been to French Lake and they do have alot of 60 vintage cars.

Cole, Are you going to enter the dyno contest?

Sure! I'm sure that Jimmy and I can get that chair, er, engine, built, paint and reassemble the car, and stuff, in the next couple of weeks!

I WISH......nope, I'll just be there with my kids to gawk a little and enjoy the fumes!

I'll be there on Saturday, too. Have to find a place for a small BPG hook-up!

  12. I'm tentatively planning on being there Saturday. BUT, it could also be the Saturday I get together with Mark Dalquist to spend the day pulling the 350 to address the rear main leak. Or, I may be working on the details of getting my rear bumper re-installed, if I have it back by then. The quarter body/paint work gets done this week. I need to get my taillight housings cleaned up and repainted, and clean up the mounting hardware, etc... Things seem to be piling up around here, and at work. I've been gone the past 4 days, and I have 2 branch year-end physical inventories to conduct in the next few weeks. :gt:
