Any of the Buick experts ID this part???

    My sister got this from an old lady clearing out some of her husband's stuff in their garage on Nantucket.

    It looks like a center cap about 4" in diameter and it's threaded on the back. Wondering what year it's off of and if you can attach a picture of it on a car.

    No, that is axle cap off wood spoke wheel hub. I had axles and some one took them off and now gone....

    I have it's twin - but not quite as nice as yours. I bought mine on evilbay. The seller represented it as 1911, but I never confirmed that. I just went looking at old Buick photos and my guess is about 1920.

    That's the era I saw it on too John. Cool when you think about it, it's been around for 100 years.
