I have been put in a position to help a friend sell his cars. I’m not sure what the market is like for Oldsmobile’s so I’m on here asking for advice, prior to putting the cars up “for sale”...
There’s 3 64-65 Cutlasses, 2 door posts and hardtops, not sure of the break down, all solid California cars, Rollers, pretty sure just missing the motors, also a 64 or 65, 2 door post car, 330ci, auto, my guess it has a decent converter and probably a posit rear end, runs & drives, sounds good too. Also an 86 Cutlass, was my friends daily driver, all stock with 3.8 v6.. Lastly, an 81 Cutlass, was a factory Diesel car ( pretty sure it’s smog exempt) now has a nice aluminum headed SBC.. All California Non Op, and need to be SOLD, at a fair price.., So what do ya think???

Unfortunately unless high end like w30 cars the money just isn’t there so be ready for that. Those diesels were total failures. Most got replaced or modified for gas.

You can always lower the price if needed.

A buddy of mine is looking for a good clean '65. We've looked at a few together, and decent ones that run are around $4-5k. We looked at a really clean hardtop without an engine or most of the interior and it ended up going for $850. He might actually be interested in one of your friend's cars. We can pm later after you find out what he's got and about what he'll be looking for and maybe we can get them in touch.

Appreciate the "help". In the near future, after getting organized, and more details, I'll be posting the cars..Local Craigslist, on here, who knows....
    Thanks, Gary G.

I would be intrested in the 81 cutlass Diesel depending on condition location and price.

I have a buddy looking for a '65 442....but they aren't easy to find in a nice "core" condition. He wants to do more of a hot-rodded/street machine build w/some custom stuff.

I will contact him and ask him to consider getting a Cutlass/F85 instead of a 442......he is serious about finding something and I'm advising him to expand his model search to Cutlass/F85 IF he can find a better "core" car (which yours might be since they are California cars).

    I'll send you a "conversation".

  10. In California the diesel car is very desired because it is smog exempt. Guys pay a premium for these cars because they can modify them anyway they want without repercussions.
