i just received an email from Johnny Babbs's youngest brother Andy saying Johnny passed away on apr. 22 from a massive stroke.
I am very sorry to hear that. We spent a lot of time over the years talking about cars and parts in the vendor areas at the Nats. I remember when he had his accident and was paralized. It was tough to see him in that wheelchair. I hope he is at peace now. He will be missed. Duane

Johnny Its with sadness I've heard of Johnny's demise.He was always a heavy Buick supporter who I knew for years.Even after his tragic accident that left him confined to a wheel chair he always held his head up and had a smile on his face,still attending many GS nats wheeling around to offer his advice,tune someone into a part they needed ,or just plain bustin' your b-lls.all in fun. The Buick community will miss Johnny. Rest in peace Johnny Babbs,where every light is a 5-oh. gary
