Anyone in the Chicago area feel like taking a trip up to those yards in WI with me? :beer I'm good to go anytime in the next few weeks minus tues and thurs mornings, and some sundays. :grin:

Yeah, too bad you're not closer...it looks as if I may end up going solo, but probably not til the second week or so of sept.

However, if there's another that you know of with a good supply of older cars (Buicks preferably) I'd go there too.

i'm over east of south bend IN, but my schedule is a little more restrictive than yours. i could go from Fri night to Sun night but the 12 hr workdays are crimping my mon to fri experience.

 

jefferson is next week as well guys. good time to come up and go to the show and its within 20 miles of that yard i talked about.

12 hr. workdays...damn! Whenever is good for you is fine. I haven't gone yet, kinda put it in the back of my mind for the moment, but honestly anytime is good. We could probably leave saturday morning as opposed to friday night, if you'd like to go. Let me know when you'd like to go. I'm free this weekend I think.

Anyhow, yeah, next weenened is good cos this weekend i'm going to morroco indiana for the buick hsow, so yeah, htaths good. so give me a holla before next weekend and we'll hit it up. i've been dreinking abs9inth, and wow, that stuff does some wonders...no wonder it's illegal here. arg!!!! So yeah, drop me a post before next weekend or whenever, on when you want to go. i can't belive i can still kinda type. i can't even read the damn screen correnctly. wow. i be t this sounds retarded to anyohen ywho isn't retarded like i am right now. omg, i think i''llll ilhave to edit this tomorrow sor somthing. my finger s wont' go were i want them too!!! ok, srooory.

this weekend not so good. see the last vehicle i list? my primary transport is living up too it's name.

next weekend would be good though. i'm taking my mother and sister to midway airport saturday morning, so the rest of the weekend should be good to go.

 

Next weekend is good I think. I'll let you know for sure, but tentatively it sounds good. At one point, I'm probably going to go down near Indiapolis to get a power window setup from one of the other board members. If we go to the junkyard before then (which I'm guessing is how it's going to happen) I think I'll try and grab a few extra power window parts just in case the other set up has some faults.

sorry i haven't gotten back to you. i've been working 11-13 hr days this week and it's just playing hell with my schedule.

i should be at midway airport (this is right next door to you, yes?) early saturday morning and my mother and sister fly out, i believe, at 9 am. so if you get me your ph # i can call you from the airport when i'm free.

a suggestion for a meetup place / directions would also be good. you'll have to tell me how that place near indy is. :beer

 

I gotta make sure that I'm still going to be able to go this saturday. I didn't really know if you were going to be good to go since you hadn't posted anything / we didn't really talk much since. I'll have to find out if I really need to be around here on Saturday, and if not it sounds good. If you email me or pm me your phone number I could just call you and let you know what's up. It's easier than going online. I'd like to go this saturday as it's supposed to be fairly nice and it's the perfect time since you'll be up here...I'll have to get back to you though.

Y'aarrrgggg!!! This sucks cos I want to go tomorrow, but I can't! My fiance would crucify me if I did (cos I went down to indianapolis today for car stuff, and two days in a row...oh man... :af: <--fiance) I have to finish grouting the bathroom cos she's totally flipping out about it. I guess she wants to do some crazy thing like take a shower in it or something...crazy women with their crazy showering.

So on that note, do you want to set a date for some weekend in October and just go for it then? Columbus day is not good, but I believe any other one would be. By the way, what were you looking to get? I may be able to get a minivan to haul crap if I need to.
