I got my black ones today! I was in the pre-order, so they must be shipping these now. Look good - one very small defect on drivers side white circle - too small to ship back - otherwise very good! p - Bill
I dont believe that Ill ever get my floor mats. Its been 2 months and still nothing. I called on them 2 weeks ago and they said that Id have them in 5 business days....its been way longer than that. Maybe theyll get here, but who knows.
Just received an email from Legendary claiming they will ship my black mats in 10 business days. The last time I called (almost a month ago) the guy said I would have them in "a week or so." o No:
I received a phone call today saying 10 days as well. I for one am glad they are making sure they are done correctly rather than sending out flawed items. Not sure what has transpired but sometimes these things happen. I've waited years for decent mats, another month won't hurt. I paid for mine months ago when the exchange was 1.15 per US dollar, now we are paying .99 per US dollar so that alone has cost me money. I'll wait, cars aren't going anywhere (yet). Hopefully they are nice.
They told me the mold broke and the delay is caused by the time it took to make another or get it repaired.
There's no reason to believe you won't get your mats. Legendary is not a fly-by-night operation. And you've only waited 2 months? Lots of guys paid last spring. But I will say they've done a very poor job of communicating the status of our orders. I've received only 1 phone call, back in early July, confirming my credit card information, and was charged at that time. Granted, I haven't called to ask for an update, as there have been plenty of posts on the board by guys that have called, and have passed along whatever Legendary told them. I'd feel a lot less patient about this if we were dealing with a less well-known vendor.
Got my "dark saddle" mats for my 71. They look a shade or two too light. I am hearing the "brown" mats are almost black. Anybody out there using these mats in a 71 with "saddle" interior????????? Thanks, Bob
I have the TAN ones on order for my 67 saddle interior. I tried the color sample they sent for their 3 versions of saddle. Just did not seem right for me. I have the original mats in my car, I would call them TAUPE. However I found a sample of TAN on another thread and looks to be same color as mine. Yipee! Problem I have with putting a dark contrasting color is that it makes the cabin seem smaller, where a lighter color just seems to contribute to that BIG buick feel...JMHO. :3gears:
I received a phone message from Chris@ Legendary.....told me my mats would be shipped the week of 10/22. I put my order in on the last day of the pre-order-special...believe it was July 31st. So hopefully everyone that pre-ordered will receive their mats by then!
Got a call on the 11th of October and they said they would ship on the 22nd. I guess they had more orders than they could handle......lol
I'm feeling a bit slighted. :laugh: I've only been called once, around July 1, just to confirm my CC # as they were charging it that same day. Of course I ordered a couple months before that. That is the ONLY call I've received from Legendary. :sleep: I
I think that may be because I had indicated to Legendary that you had graciously consented to me receiving your set.
