I'm in need of some help here. I'm looking for some nice closeup shots of the inner sides of the 68 GS grilles, where the black grille center meets the agrent sides. What I'd like to see is if the side area where the Black grille area meets should be black as well to the point where the grille area ends or if it the entire side should be argent, with only the center grille being black. I've been looking over the site here, as well as the internet, but haven't been able to find any pictures of grilles that were clear enough to see the sides. Thanks guys!
DL, Thanks, do you happen to have a close up shot of eihter the right or left side of this. I think I can make out on my computer screen that the bottom block of the grille grate area on each side is black to continue the black area from the bottom, but the rest is left Argent. Just to clarify, these are the areas I'm interested in
Roy, that's great thanks! BTW, from what those small closeups show, your car looks awesome! Dave, Very cool convertible, that black is sweet. Where in MD are you located?
WOW, great looking cars guys. Was looking up the same topic today, thanks for the help. Painting soon
I think this is still on topic: Does anyone know a source for a NOS '68 GS grill? I've noticed that on TAperformance and other web sites they seem to go from '67 to '69, completely skipping over '68. Mine is just barely hanging on and has seen its better days. Thanks. Eric.

Never seen anyone that reproduces 68 grilles. Found mine on EBAY, needs a little epoxy and a repaint. Think I did OK @ $400.00.
I know of a guy who sells billet grilles for these cars looks pretty cool he is going to make a 70 gs grille soon let me know joseph 909 455-6826
Dave, found that on the board years ago when I was restoring my '68 Conv. Is it one of your masterpieces ? DL
Yes it is, the grille in on Buick Frank's car. You can usually tell my pictures by the grey rug background.
Eric- post in the 'parts wanted' section. I should warn you- NOS 68 grilles sell for around $1000- IF you find one. If it was me, I would send a PM to Daves69 (who posted in this thread) to see if he would restore your current grille ... :TU:
