I received a free copy of the gsx striping measurements a while back from a board member cant remember who.. Thanks though, lost the copy of the hood measurements, and now im needing them again...i want to have the right measurements for the gsx stripes, and want them to be exact, anyone have a digital copy i can have, or buy.. how bout off top of head measurements..thanks

heres my email..thanks SS-truck.. aherrera5057@att.net .i have another question, been going to paint shops to get the paint for my painter, have been asking for the 70 gsx saturn yellow code, and nothing, ive given them the code 81838 and they were able to pull it out, its just that then cant make that paint anymore because it contained lead, so what would be the correct paint color, it has to be numbers, ive given them qq and nothing..any suggestions, can i pull it off with another makes color.
i have called a ppg distributor and they make a saturn yellow, 81838 code that is omni ppg, which my painter says its a lower quality than ppg paint, but still ppg brand, has anyone worked with this type of paint before.
you asked about the omni paint?it is a lower quality ,it takes more coats to cover ,in turn you will use more paint to cover the car -how ever if you use a light colered sealer (under the yellow) it should still give you a good paint job and to save some more money:dollar: you can use the shop line clear :laugh: :laugh: it's a good clear!
Thats exactly what i was told, im willing to sacrifice the higher quality if saturn yellow in omni style paint is the only one available, on the other hand, SS TRUCk has provided to help me get the color codes to make a better quality saturn yellow that still is good quality...thanks:TU:
As we speak, my '71 Skylark is being painted and I wanted to add the classic Buick stripes. I would love to get all of the dimensions for the striping as well. I would rather do it right then guess. Thanks to all who help. BATBUICK
