Anyone know the difference between a gs350 air cleaner bracket versus a 455gs bracket?

I have the 350 bracket, wondering if I can modify for the 455? Thanks

 

I think the 350 is straight the way you have it laying in the picture and
the 455 would have a forward bend . Other then that , think they are the same .

455 one is straight with an 1 stamped in the back. 455 block is longer. 350 is a shorter block and is bent and has an O stamped in the back.

 

Thanks gents. If anyone has a pic of it on their 455 they can share, possibly measure from top side of T stat housing to top of bracket, I’m sure I can create something acceptable. Thanks

Yes the 400 is the same as a 455

 

The first one, with a "1" stamp is a GS 400 GS 455/ Stage 1 bracket

The second one, with a "0" stamp, is a GS 350 bracket.....

Would you say the only difference is the 455 bracket is not as tall?

 

Shape and height. I’ve seen 350 brackets bent to fit the 400/455.
If it were me, I would sell the 350 bracket and buy an exact 400/455 BBB reproduction bracket that Todd or mr buick - Mike Garrison makes..
