Back to thinking about AC on my 61. I know I can upgrade the timing chain housing, water pump, and go with 62 and up factory brackets, but still wondering if I can stick with what I have? Anyone put AC on a 364 before?

Sure did as far back as 1955 if I remember correctly.
I have a '61 LeSabre that has A/C delete originally from Texas. It has a 42 amp generator with a double pulley. A cold air induction hose from the front of the radiator support to the rear of the generator. The 1/4" return line to the fuel tank. And plates attached to the cowl in 2 spots to run the A/C hoses, wiring & vacuum hoses. Doesn't have the A/C ducts on the dash, BUT the rear is marked for were they go.
So all that's needed is the A/C components. I missed one that was in a yard I was told about. Unfortunatly it was crushed before I had a chance to pick it apart.
