I just need the actual spindles to be able to mount a set of Wilwood brakes on my frame. I even have some disc spindles I could horsetrade..
You may want to check your Wilwood instructions. I just went through this with their 6-piston caliper kit I bought. It requires the spindles to have the 5/8-18 threads at the top anchor bolt hole. The only spindles that come that way are the the 67-72 Chevelle, 67-69 Camaro, and 68-74 Nova. I prefer to use the drum brake spindles because they don't require using the spacers that come in the Wilwood kit. You can drill and tap the smaller BOP spindle anchor bolt holes to 5/8-18 but it has to be done right. I have a pair of the 67 Chevelle drum brake spindles for sale, ..... PM your email if you are interested and I can send photos. http://www.v8buick.com/index.php?th...m-brake-spindles-chevelle-camaro-nova.329782/ Larry
I just tossed a pair of spindle assemblies in the scrap dumpster Monday.I can see if they are still there.
According to Wilwood,I don't need any special spindle and the stock unit is what's preferred. I am still looking for a set.Prices??
I have them off of my 70 sportwagon - just the spindles, right? Shipping is going to be $15 and I would trade them for a 12 pack of decent beer. They are already off the car and in a box - I could ship them right away if you need them quick. $30 shipped?
Pat, If you aren’t in a huge rush, I have a set id be happy to donate to the cause. I live in Harrisburg now. Louie
