Are there any 70-72 convertible NOS quarters left on Earth?

Or should I hack up a pair of reproduction AMD quarters?

Someone had some on the board, but they were expensive. I did a conv a number of year ago and they were able to cut a set of NOS hardtop ones down.

I think Tim in Colorado has a set. "Lost GS" or something like that.

I think you’re referring to Tim Carson, Duane. StratoBlue72.

BTW, I have an alternator adjustment bracket that I owe you from Mike’s X. I’ll bring it to Chicago.

I saw one at Carlisle 2 years ago for $2200. I wanted to buy it but didn’t have the money. I always wondered what happened to it.

I looked for NOS convert.. quarter panels for at least 3 years... Tried to buy some here as a mater of fact, the asking price was so high that it was cheaper to buy a rust free used pair for 3k ! We trimmed them and installed them on the factory welds, we also used the outer wheel houses.. Hard top full quarters will work but to look right will require a lot of time and effort! I still have the NOS set of hard top quarters I was going to use . I sold them to a member of this board, he sent partial payment 2 years ago and never picked them up ! (still sitting in my trailer ) I have tried to contact him several times.. no reply! Good luck with your hunt..

I still have them. It's not looking like I will get back to any of my project cars, so all may end up being for sale.

I have a brand new pair of AMD Hardtop rear quarters, still in the original packaging.

Bought these from Mark Reeves from Then & Now Auto years ago and never used them. Pretty sure AMD hasn't been making these for quite a while.

    In storage in Wakefield, MA.

    Thanks

What does a set or even 1 hard top quarter bring anymore?? Just curious as to the number amount.

    NOS?

You can still get the AMD quarters from The Parts Place. They bought all of the AMD stuff apparently, and are still making them. $579 each side. I've bought several pair in the last 3 years. No supply issues.

I may have to drive to Illinois and perhaps pick up a pair this summer..I really don't need then for the back half car,but the Maggot could use a nice set.Who knows...Maybe I may even decide to paint the old boy...Maybe not...lol
