When i took my license plate off my car. Sitting in my attic 20 yrs. The car had colorado plates. They must have to be on the front. I noticed this. 1 39 1 .
What’s weird is the part # on the reinforcement plate behind the front bump.
It’s part # is 39. And i’m assuming the 1 1 is the rubber pads that keep it from rattingling.

I bought 2 cars, both GSX's that had front license plates installed from new and they both had numbers crayoned on the front bumpers directly behind the plates.

The 70 car was built in April and had the number "4" crayoned on, the 71 car was built in June and had the number "6".

The only thing I could figure out was the number corresponded to the month it was built, but I never heard of any other cars like this, so there was not enough info to go on.
