    Our thoughts are with you. Some of us have been there before—seeing one apparently coming. I hate the feeling of apprehension.

    ...its all in the PREPARATION. On its present course, the entire state of Florida will feel impact from Hurricane Dorian. As Steve pointed out, good chance it will intensify over the warm waters by the time it makes landfall on east coast, then across the state to the west coast. . .

    And it could sweep across the state and hit the Gulf and regroup and hit the Gulf Coast of another state or even the panhandle

    I'll put this out there.... Im up north Florida. Just south of the Ga. boarder. I have Generator that can run the whole house A/C inc. plenty of parking and cover for cars. If anyof you guys in the danger zone need a place to evac to You are welcome to come hang out here. Stay as long as you need to.

    Just seen this thread - that looks nasty. Stay safe all in this beasts path guys.
    Homes and most posessions are replaceable.
    I'd a been in my Buick with the wife and girls, clothes, food and booze for a long weekend. Sentimental jewellery, photos, hard drive plus gas cans to get us to Briz's place AND back almost twelve hours ago.
    Kudos for reaching out Briz, storm be buffered - ( sure I put g's in that )
