How about we take an ice pick, blast a small hole in your oil pan, then afterwards we can just put a smear of jb weld over it? Would that work for ya?
Or we could maybe try through the drain plug hole? Distributor hole? I'm not familiar with which engine your using, and where the drain back holes, etc. are located.

well as stated earlier the car count goes up alittle every year.Which sounds like alot of interest to me.i tried a few years ago in florida to start to get a car count for a track rental for purestock musclecars;I spend alot of time and could only muster up 15 or so definte candidates;;most of the others are matching # cars and they were afraid of damaging the motor etc.Years ago about 2003 I hauled my freshly restored 68 nova ss 396 up to brad rising factory stock drag race in Norwalk, ohio;even though I had problems with the car;I had a blast;from watching stick shift cars to the sound of the quadrajet to the people I met.I have my nova running 13;30 now with a 3;42 gear ;I am happy with that;and I can drive the car anywhere .i am building another nova now; 396/375 hp ,stick car now.Feel lucky you guys have tracks where everybody can get together;because we all know what test-n-tune nights are like.I don;t know what the solutions are but I plan on being alittle closer to the races when I move to north carolina in a year or so.i am sure Dan and Bob put alot of work into these races;so we can all have these get together;lets not forget that.chris Teed

    It's all good ...... :bglasses:

And I do agree with Tom C ....... we need to worry about ALL of the things that are affecting the legitimacy of PS ...... not just the lifters.

    J U S T enforce the existing rules..........

I guess what I'm saying (preference only) is just enforce the 1999 rules.

Tom no one has called you a cheater, If you where cheating you'd probably debate it so long and loud until we would just say run it for the sake of our eardrums!! ALL ALONG I have said JUST ENFORCE the rules we have !! No witch hunts- no name calling UNLESS I have had first hand data.

I don't take stuff as lightly as you think or go off 1/2 cocked. In the past I have used peoples own words from other sights, Or standing there LOOking myself. My family had an engine shop when I was a kid and was a Engine and driveline mechanic up till only a few years ago.. I build all my own stuff and I'm not the Retard you might mistake me for.
I am a purist -I admit that. I run a GM out of the box factory cam and lifters . I don't believe in aftermarket light cranks and stuff. And I believe Gray areas are for the guys that couldn't make it run on there own!

You actually are the one going off 1/2 cocked, Scott said he took his pump off. Said it didn't need it. It was BK that used to run an electric fuel pump for years and said it was for spring start ups. Didn't say a thing about Mahoneys car having one DID I???
I don't mind the FUN of the race, I'm there for that too. It's only the mentality of I can build WHAT I WANT AND BRING it and CALL it Certified stock! That pisses me off..
Certify and Certify the right way ,the way Myself and others before me have done and I'll give credit where credit is due.
IF being asked to pump ,pull a valve cover, check vacuum or use a bore scope to check a lower end,"if your suspect" makes someone mad, then that person is probably hiding somthing in there.

Tom I'm all about good debate and stiff criticizm, but you take the cake. I've never meet a nicer guy with such an agenda to play DEVIL's ADVOCATE. Your the one stirring more than others.
If you want give me a call and I'll give you EVERY PIECE of dirt I have ever gottin, just to end this!

And GLASGO :moonu: :moonu: Remember when you broke and SAWRUK offered to help and give you another set of rockers. You of all people shouldn't be barking! Whinning is for nothing- Complaining loudly from roof tops about somthing you care about is somthing different!

Tim,While i know that i could count on Jeff to help me in a jam,as he could count on me to return the favor,I dont know what your talking about.I have never broken a rocker at the race.I have broken some years ago while driving on the street, and that is why i insist on GM rockers. And i was not BARKING:laugh:

Tim and I had a nice conversation the other day that firms up my belief of little league, the minors and the majors all playing on the same field at the same time. The rules that everyone wants to see enforced seem to be a matter of opinion.I think they could be refined some
