Bell housing info wanted

    Can anyone give me the correct part number for the bell housing on a factory 4 speed 1967 GS 400. Thanks

    AH HA!! Annudder one! This is a 1964 V6 housing thats in perfect alignment with a 1975 455 with an 11" clutch. The flex plate is off the 455 and sits well into the housing like maybe 3"++. Someone posted a Part # pic close up from a 1970(ish) and mine was a suffix letter off. They are all the same except the nailheads.... ws

    9774035 = all 65-67/ALL ST except 400 eng
    (this is the bellhousing part# listed in the 67-72 Buick Special parts pdf)

    Its a perfect match for convertin'! Rolled the motor over several times with a bar and no rubs at all. All the clutch stuff lined up well too. I did the M-U earlier with all the stuff empty and tomorrow is the real McCoy... ws
